My Story

Hi, my name is Zoe Otey and I am a 30 year old queer photographer, dancer, performer, roller skater, retired stripper, and spicy content creator based in Austin, Texas. I have been taking my own boudoir photos and videos of my spicy roller skating to sell on my spicy pages for almost two years now. I specialize in capturing the perfection that is the human form in high-contrast, intimate shots. My mission is to empower others to integrate their shadow, alchemize shame, and honor their personal sovereignty through self-expression, no matter how sensual or naughty.

My boudoir photography journey began when I wanted to photograph the original crochet bralette and bodysuit designs I was creating back at the beginning of 2019. I was gifted my first camera a few years prior but hadn't started taking photos seriously until I had my friends modeling my designs and fell in love with how empowered and beautiful they all felt seeing their photos. From there, I started playing around with more bedroom boudoir and even booked an AirBnb for a marathon shoot day with multiple friends to better hone my craft. Covid hit the next year and my boudoir business plans stalled but I continued to take photos of myself with my camera on a tripod and a remote app on my phone. It was helping with my own body image issues and soon I found myself falling in love with my form for the first time ever. Now, I am a fully expressed and shameless creator sharing my art and expression through roller burlesque, dance, boudoir, and performance.

Over the years, I've taken photography gigs here and there shooting friends' engagements and performances as well as second-shooting on rare occasions. I also had a small stint of doing engagements and weddings in collaboration with an ex. Through all of this experimentation, I have found that my passion lies in lifting up the queer community, performers, and SWers in studio settings where I can have complete control over the lighting, backgrounds, and posing (though my skills are broad and span portrait, product, landscape, performance, and documentary-style photography).
